Two Reveals - ScrapFIT & Challenge Me Happy

Happy 2012, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I can't believe another year has vanished. Here's to lots more scrapping in the new year :)

I have to layouts to share on this lovely first day of January. The first one is the latest workout at ScrapFIT. It's Workout #60, and it's an inspiration challenge. I absolutely LOVE the 80's, and this workout is about being inspired by Pat Benatar's song "Love is a Battlefield." I used the line "We are young..." and scraped two photos of my girls. I used Echo Park's Little Girl line. I always love the sticker embellishment sheets in EP's kits...they make it so easy to add details to the page!

The sponsor this month is Boys Rule.

Boys Rule Scrapbooks kits is a monthly scrapbook kit club for those of us who love to paper craft boy subjects. Care and consideration is key as each kit is assembled for the boys. Cool embellies are paired with handsome papers you will love to play with each month.
Boys Rule Scrapbook kits also has exclusive embellies with each kit....they are all different and very unique, and are included each month just for you.

It's fun to create when you have a complete kit that is designed for the memories of dirt, grunge and smelly things!

Be sure to upload your layout on the ScrapFIT blog for a chance to win a fabulous kit!

It's also reveal day at Challenge Me Happy! Challenge #14 is a "scraplift." A gorgeous layout by Trina McClune is our inspiration for this one...and it's a beauty! Whatever inspires you from this layout is the focus. I was inspired by the photo placement, the beautiful flowers and the fence!

Trina's gorgeous layout:

Here is what I created:

Buy only what you like. International shipping is available (please contact Elaine@freehandscraps.com to purchase internationally). The January kit, called “Kiss the Cook”, features the colorful Fresh Goods line from Pebbles. Embellishments, including darling little metal kitchen embies, are from TPC Studios, Ormolu, Jillibean Soup, and more.

The mini album kit contains a 6×6 acrylic album and many of the same elements as the 12×12 kit.
The winner of Challenge #14 will win a $15 gift certificate to FreeHand Scraps! Remember, your layout for this challenge must be new and for CMH only.

Thanks for stopping by, and I wish everyone a very happy & healthy 2012!
